Updated review on analytical methodologies in real time, online or in situ, implemented for photocatalytic reaction systems. Advantages of the real-time analysis compared with the off-line analysis: a shorter response time, greater number of analyzed samples and reliable results, lower waste generation from the analysis and, possibility of in situ analysis for unstable species on photocatalytic surface.
