Impedance spectroscopy: an efficient and fast method to probe the growing of Lactobacillus acidophilus

  • The use of impedance technique in comparison with the plate count technique allows for early times of detection of bacteria and their growth parameters.

  • The response of the system is well adjusted and was represented by a series RC circuit, where the resistance was more efficient medium for the estimation of growth parameters the value of the capacitance of the system.
