XYLANOLYTIC SYSTEM PROTEINS DESORPTION FROM Aspergillus flavipes FP-500 CULTURES WITH AGROWASTES
L.R. Torres-Barajas and G. Aguilar-Osorio
It was identified the adsorption of proteins and enzymes during cultures on corn cobs and wheat bran.
Adsorption of proteins was higher on corn cobs than in wheat bran.
Even when total protein adsorption was higher in corn cobs, wheat bran was pretty much selective to xylanolytic system proteins.
Protein adsorption in each raw material depended of its chemical composition.
Protein adsorption can reduce the recovery in fermentation process if these raw materials are used.
