A one-zone thermodynamic model for biogas fueled internal combustion engines is validated.
The presented model uses relationships for the combustion process that allows it to be used by low experience users.
The model is capable of accurately predicting the in-cylinder pressure for biogas fueled engines as shown.
The model is valid for engines working under different fuel-air ratios as shown.
The model is capable of calculating the trends for the NOx formation for different fuel-air ratios and different CO2 concentrations in fuel.
