Fatty acids, phenols content, and antioxidant activity in Ibervillea sonorae callus cultures

  • All Ibervillea sonorae calli lines produced higher quantity of fatty acids
    than the reported from tuber roots of wild plants.

  • The content of phenolic compounds and the antioxidant activity were higher in I. sonorae leaves than I. sonorae calli lines.

  • The content of phenolic compounds and the antioxidant activity were higher in I. sonorae leaves than the range of those reported by other cucurbits.
